1. Agreement to Terms

By booking a transfer with London Airport Taxi Transfer ("we", "us", "our") or using our website at londonairporttaxitransfer.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

2. Booking & Confirmation

• All bookings must be made at least 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time. For last-minute bookings, call us on +44 7879 491007.
• A booking is only confirmed once you receive a written confirmation email with a booking reference number (format: LAT-YYYY-XXXXXX).
• It is your responsibility to ensure all booking details — pickup location, drop-off, date, time, terminal, passenger count — are accurate at the time of booking.
• We strongly recommend providing your flight number so we can track your arrival and automatically adjust for delays.
• For airport pickups, please specify your terminal number to ensure your driver goes to the correct arrivals hall.

3. Pricing & Payment

• All prices quoted are fixed and fully inclusive of VAT. No congestion charge surcharges, no fuel surcharges, no hidden fees of any kind.
• The price quoted at the time of booking is the final price you pay — it cannot be increased by the driver.
• Payment can be made by credit/debit card online (via Stripe), PayPal, or cash to the driver on the day.
• For card payments online, your card is charged at the time of booking.
• For "Pay on Day" bookings, payment is due to the driver at the start of the journey in cash or card.
• Optional extras (child seats, wheelchair assist, extra luggage) are charged at rates shown at booking time.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

• Free cancellation: Cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled pickup for a full refund — no questions asked.
• Within 24 hours: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pickup incur a charge of 50% of the booking fee.
• No-show: If you do not appear at the agreed pickup point within 60 minutes of the scheduled time without contacting us, the full booking fee is charged.
• Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.

5. Flight Delays & Waiting Time

• We track all inbound flights at no extra cost. If your flight is delayed, your driver will automatically wait — no extra charge for flight-delay waiting time.
• For airport pickups: we allow 60 minutes of free waiting time from the actual landing time of your flight.
• For non-airport pickups: we allow 15 minutes of free waiting time from the scheduled pickup time.
• Waiting time beyond these allowances is charged at £10 per 15 minutes, billed in 15-minute increments.

6. Passenger Conduct & Luggage

• Passengers must not consume alcohol or food in vehicles without the driver's permission.
• Smoking (including e-cigarettes and vapes) is strictly prohibited in all vehicles.
• Passengers are liable for any damage caused to the vehicle during their journey.
• Luggage allowances are stated per vehicle class at booking. Excess luggage may require a vehicle upgrade or additional charge.
• We accept no liability for items left in vehicles. Lost property must be reported immediately by calling +44 7879 491007.
• Assistance dogs and registered guide dogs are welcome in all vehicles at no extra charge.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by English law:

• We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, road closures, accidents, adverse weather, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
• We are not liable for missed flights, trains, cruises, or other onward travel due to such delays. We recommend booking your transfer with sufficient buffer time.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from a single booking is limited to the value of that booking.
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
